Five years ago, one City Group launched in Wahoo — a small community of people gathering around God's Word, learning to live like family, and looking for ways to bring the gospel into their everyday lives and neighborhoods. It was a small beginning, but it kept growing.

About six to seven months ago, that one group multiplied into two. It was a sign of something we believe God is doing — not just adding people, but multiplying disciples who go on to make more disciples. In April, we took another step forward, meeting weekly for core group training to prepare for what's next.

We believe rural communities like Wahoo matter to God, and that they can be renewed by the gospel — one relationship, one City Group, one act of faithfulness at a time. That's the heart behind everything we're doing here: glorifying Jesus by multiplying disciples and churches in places like ours.

Right now, we're in a season of prayer — seeking the lead pastor(s) God has for this work, and a space to gather together on Sunday mornings. We're not doing this alone; we're one of several churches partnering together to see this church plant become a reality in Wahoo.
